Road and Life

In December 2007, at the entrance of the Nijera Kori NGO Training Center in Nun Gola, Bogura, during the Britto Arts Trust International Artists’ Workshop, I presented this installation.

The work focused on the impressions and sounds of footsteps along a path, aiming to draw attention to the significance and enormity hidden within the routines of daily life. The paths we cross countless times remain unnoticed—much like the air we breathe, essential yet taken for granted.

This installation was conceived as a gentle reminder: to become more conscious of our everyday actions and to recognize the often-overlooked weight and meaning embedded in ordinary human movement.
